Your immediate values trickle through everything you are and do in your life and work. When you honour them you feel good and when you don‘t honour them you may feel frustrated.
There can be a disconnect between what we believe in and how we live. The micro-decisions we make such as scrolling Instagram when you need a break instead of going for a walk can add up and push you out of balance.
When was it the last time that you asked yourself the question:
Is this in alignment with what I really need right now?
Lead your life from a place of inner integrity and authenticity through being in alignment with your principles and values
Our values inform our thoughts, words and actions and are important because they help us to grow and develop. They help us to create the future we want to experience.
Every individual and every organisation is involved in making hundreds of decisions every day. The decisions we make are a reflection of our values and beliefs, and they are directed towards a specific purpose. That purpose is the satisfaction of our individual or collective (organisational) needs.
When we use our values to make decisions, we make a deliberate choice to focus on what is important to us. When values are shared, they build internal cohesion in a group.
Often, however, we ignore our values and when we have lost sight of what we care about then we have lost our compass.
Maybe you value health but don’t find the time to exercise and never cook from scratch. Do you care about kindness but tolerate backstabbing friends?
Maybe you feel misunderstood, frustrated, out of balance, exhausted, a general loss of connection to work or family and friends, very emotional at best and near burn-out at worst.
Living with a sense of unease that something isn’t right is a sign of cognitive dissonance. That means we are making choices that don’t reflect our values.
If you feel like life is running its course without you being in control of it, then taking the leap and working with me one to one or taking my value workshop may be the perfect pit-stop to take.
But you will after working with me. And when you do, you will feel alive.
